A killer comes to a small town. On the news, we see all the young children being murdered. It seems every day there's a new story. There are sick people walking around in our lives. You never know who you're working with or living next door to, it could be a killer. This young girl lost her life because of whom she worked with.

These murders are everywhere. Our children went to school with a boy who ended up killing an elderly lady. We never thought he would do this.

Our children are older, but we still have to worry about them. They're never safe. My cousin was killed because he stopped to help a motorist, they robbed him and killed him. Murder touches many families.

This is a story I hate to think about. It happened to us by accident. Remember you never know who is listening to your conversation. I've always tried to teach my children not to talk loud in public. We are not loud people.

One day we were visiting our daughter. It was Mother's Day a happy day for us. We went out to eat. Thinking this would be a great family day. The day didn't turn out the way we wanted it to.

While at the restaurant our daughter was telling us about the murder of an 18-year-old girl in her town. Everyone in town was worried because they had no idea who had killed her. We were not being loud and the room was empty when we first started to talk about this story.

The tables in the restaurant were so close to each other you could reach out and touch them easily. The waiter finally did bring in another family. Their table was very close to ours.

All at once a man got up and came to our table and told us to please stop talking about his daughter. We were in shock and upset. Our granddaughter started to cry. We felt really bad, but we were having a discussion about it because it's what people do when something this awful happens and when it’s all over the news and in the paper.

The fact is this man should not have even been here. He had a job he shouldn't have had. He was here so why didn't he make something of his life instead of taking the life of this young girl, just a child.

I often think about her and what her family has been through. Their sadness will never end.

The police did their job and found the killer very fast.

We felt awful about this. There is hardly a day goes by I don't think about this young girl. I know how awful I would feel if this happened to one of my children or grandchildren. I have no idea how the parents can go on.

It was a senseless awful murder just for cell phone and two pairs of underwear. We had heard around town this killer had heard Breanna and her boyfriend talking about the money they had saved and it was his real reason for going to her apartment to find the money. He's not talking so who knows if this is true. We believe this man should be put away for the rest of his life. I know if it were my child I would want him to get the death penalty so he would be gone to never hurt anyone again.

It only took 36 minutes for this monster to take Breanna's life.

Life in prison, he lives on and in 20 years or less may come out of prison free to kill someone else's child. He now sleeps in a nice warm bed, free food and no worries. We have to pay for his keep.

This is a small city but even in a small city terrible things happen.

We also live in a small town and terrible things happen here too, not often, but they do happen. People here still don't lock their doors, but I do.

There is no way to protect our children we just have to hope they stay safe. Many kids grow up thinking everyone is their friend, I know this for sure I have a few in my own family.

A murderer can come from anywhere. We have had many killer Americans and American-born, but we have to deal with them. It's too bad we also have to deal with illegal immigrant killers.

There has been another sad killing in California, the young lady's father was with her and couldn't save her from this illegal killer.

He runs free. The jurors seem to think he was an innocent man even though they know he killed her. He gets to murder another day.
