OH NO, ANOTHER BAD BUYER and SELLER ON EBAY
90EBAY
NOT ANOTHER BAD BUYER and SELLER ON EBAY
I have always enjoyed buying and selling on eBay, but I have ran into some bad sellers and some bad buyers. I started with eBay when you didn't have to have a credit card listed. If I sold I paid them by check through the mail.
Sellers...some never shipped the item or it was junk when they made it sound like it was great in the auction description.
The problem, you could leave bad feedback, but if you did they would leave you bad feedback even though you paid on time.
Then eBay changed their policy. NO BAD FEEDBACK FOR BUYERS, sounds great, but than when you try to sell something the buyer can leave you bad feedback even though you have bent over backwards to do everything right. They start harassing by email and just complaining over everything. They now get a high on holding bad feedback over your head if your the seller.
Lately I had a woman complain over shipping even though she knew the item was being shipped by parcel post at 4.50. It cost me 4.73 to mail the item. She insisted I should have mailed by first class. First class only goes up to 13 oz. this item was over the weight limit.
Now maybe I'm wrong in all of this, but I don't think I am. I have 100% rating and some people just hate that. She is looking to give me bad feedback and of course there is nothing I can do about it because of ebay's new policy. I can complain to eBay about her, but not likely it will help.
THE BACK AND FORTH EMAILS FROM BUYER
HER: You do realize you could have shipped this little bit of jewelry for around $3 1st class or charged .25 more for shipping and sent it priority mail and the post office even provides a free box.
ME:
I hope you have received this item...Here is what I paid to ship this item. Yes I do know what can be paid for shipping my husband is a retired postal worker..
Shipping Status: Shipped
Label Purchase Date: Sep. 8, 2008
Carrier: U.S. Postal Service

Note: Shipping time may sometimes exceed time shown for selected service type, depending on the distance between seller and buyer.
Mailing Date: Sep. 8, 2008 00:00:00 CDT
Total Shipping Cost: $4.73 USD
Mailing Date: Sep. 8, 2008 00:00:00 CDT
Total Shipping Cost: $4.73 USD
HER: Now I am really confused, you knew 1st class was cheaper and faster and you still waited 5 days and the shipped parcel.....wow, never mind whats done is done maybe it will be here in a couple of days, the tracking number says it went thru atlanta on the 13th.......
ME: I'm sorry if you feel you have to go on at me over this shipping you knew what it was when you bid. Why did you bid if you didn't like the shipping? First Class is only 13 oz. with packaging it's very easy to go over that. When you get the item mail them back and I will give your money back and the shipping it will cost you to mail back. I'm just not going argue with you over this it's not worth it. I'm sorry you're not satisfied. That's all I can do for you.
HER: Really don't want you to do anything except quit writing me and leave me alone, I thought you just didn't know any better and I was just trying to be helpful, now that I know you do know better, I just want you to leave me alone.......please
Her Feed Back
So I checked out her feedback 99.3%. I find out she is selling jeweler items and she is charging 4.50 for shipping one ring. Does any of the above from her sound helpful to you?
Her and this is my opinion, "CRAZY."
We Need A All Bad Buyers List
What is your experience with ebay? Someone needs to have a page that list all the bad buyers on ebay, so at least sellers know not to sell to them.
I'm Back To Let Everyone Know what Happened.
She left me a neutral rating which at least didn't take down my score then she sent me a message.
HER:
just wanted to let you know that I weighed the jewelry with packaging and it weighed less than 8 oz, would have shipped 1st class for less than $3, I know you don't care but just wanted to let you know. please no need to respond transaction completed fb left this matter should be finished. thanks ?
My Neutral Rating
seller shipped 8 oz pkg parcel post when could have shipped 1st class for less Buyer: NUTCAKE Sep-15-08 12:05
- Reply by @#$$% (Sep-15-08 15:37):shipping was listed on auction weight was over 13 oz. Cost me 4.73 to mail
This woman is so full of it!!!!
What I did for her.
I blocked her from buying from me again.
I filed a complaint with ebay over her harassment of the shipping. It won't do any good, but I feel better.
When I offer to give every cent back to her I really don't know what else I could have done. Also you do not have to post postal options when selling an item on ebay and for anyone to think you have to is wrong. I was never late with sending this item out. I never blamed the post office nothing like that. I was a honest seller and bent over backwards to help people.
Zapf Baby Doll
Another Bad Buyer
Just recently I put this pretty little baby doll up for sale on Ebay. I had a $20.00 bid on it when the auction ended. I sent a payment due slip to the bidder. Never heard a word from her. I sent another reminder, nothing. So then I had Ebay send her a reminder, nothing, They didn't receive a respond. I waited 8 days then ask Ebay if I could relist the doll.
This is the type of thing that happens on Ebay than we can't leave bad feedback for the buyer. I blocked this person from buying from me again, but so far Ebay has done nothing to her for not paying for her item.
SELLER COMPLAINT
Well, now I have a seller complaint. I was bidding on a chandelier I just loved and had been winning. All at once I receive a message from ebay Dear eBay Community Member,
The bid that you entered for the item (#%*#%*#%*#%*) has been cancelled. You can view the reason provided for the cancellation by selecting the (bid history) link from the individual item page. So I go to the link page and all it says is the item received no bids not true it had 3 bids and I was the highest.
Contacting Ebay is not always easy. Very rarely do they give a reason or answer to what actually happened. I filed a complaint, we'll have to see what happens.
I'm angry over it. If this can happen on an item than why bother to bid. I know she thought she wasn't going to get enough money for the item, but that's what reserves are for. She didn't have a reserve. She also had 100% rating.

By the way never got my answer from ebay they completely ingnored me.
Michael Jackson Jacket
My son had a Michael Jackson jacket when he was about 10 and I kept it through the years. Well, he’s almost 40 with no sons. I ask him what he wanted me to do with it. He told me to sell it on Ebay. I put it up for action. Lady bid, won it for $45.00. I didn’t receive payment as promised. I emailed her no answer. Ebay sent her a pay message. She than contacted me. She ask me if could give her a couple days, I said I would. I gave her about 4 more days to pay. She said she wanted it for her son for Halloween. Still she didn’t pay. Finally I ask Ebay if I could relist it. I relisted and the day I relisted, her money showed up in my Paypal account that day. I than sent her money back to her. She begged me to sell it to her I said I would if there were no bids on the jacket. There were bids. To late for her. The jacket sold than for about $127.00. I did the best I could on Ebay to help her out, but sometimes it just doesn’t work.
She didn't give me bad feedback. I didn't give her any feedback.
glass bundt pans
Mistakes I have made.
I have made many mistakes while buying from ebay. If it's my mistake I never say a word I just keep what I have bought. I made one recently. I wanted a new glass bundt pan. I looked all over the Internet and couldn't find one except on ebay. My mistake I didn't ask any questions. My auction item arrived right when it should. Below is what I got. It's a mini-me glass bundt pan. I wanted the large bundt pan. I will keep it and use it I'm sure. I will give the seller excellent feedback.
Please, feel free to leave a comment. It's always nice to hear about your experience with ebay. Please, be careful of language I can't post your comment if the language is bad. Comments are fine but just one word will stop me from putting it in the comments. You can always use symbols.

Very informative. Sorry it was at your expense. There will always be people who are unhappy no matter how hard we try and the more we try to explain the more unhappy they become. Hope things work out for you with ebay. ~ eddie
I too have been a eBayer for quite a while,, you get the good and the bad.
son sold an item to canadian. canadian pays right away. Good! canadian claims its damaged, promises to send back, demands replacement needs right away cuz its Xmas, wants us not to declare value for insurance cuz Canadian customs will hit 4 tax Son sends replacement, untrackable uninsured, trying to be nice. Canadian claims he never got it. Son sends a third one this time insured for full value. Canadian bitches because he has to pay something extra to get it. End result got paid for one, sent three. never received first one back. This asshole has the gall to continue harrassing us about it.
I've only had 1 problem - the buyer couldn't pay me. We amicably agreed that I would withdraw the item. Then I relisted it and it didn't sell. However, 3rd time lucky, I sold it for more than the original guy bid. However, it took a while and of course I had more than 1 listing fee.
Maybe I've been lucky. I have been worried about this new policy of no bad feedback from sellers, but so far, so good.
but what happened to the item you sold? again you have to list?
This really is very rude especially when you think that maybe her real reason for all the hassle was only to try and bring your ratings down to her level which maybe in her mind, could/would bring her more jewellery sales. I have been an ebayer for a couple of years but have not (fingers crossed) had a problem with the new ebay no feedback rule of not allowing the seller the right of reply.
I am an eBay junkie myself and always hold my breath that a troublemaker is going to come along just to be rude. I feel for you, moonlake....there are some mean people out there.
This is all very insightful. I've only bought off of Ebay and have had great experiences. I've been thinking about selling on it, but have heard so many mixed stories. I have two friends that have hardly evey had problems with customers and I've had one that has had such bad experiences with nasty custoemrs that it has almost sent him out of business totally. This is very sad but reflects the selfish mean qualities people can have over money. I'm still debating eBay. My stuff will be handmade and I've heard of other venues that might be better for that.
Thanks again.
thanks for the comment on one of my hubs. Ya I recently experienced a bad buyer and am still going through things. Finally got it most of the way sorted. eBay customer support is horrible though. I will eventually write a hub about this story, but for now realize it was an international bidder. Person threatened to sue before I shipped the item if i didn't ship it etc, I refunded their payment and wont do business with them. cost me some negative feedback though :(
I want everyone to be aware of buyers who claim they never received their item. I have recently run into a buyer who bought, paid, but claimed that she never received the item. I shipped this item out right away as soon as I received her payment through USPC first class which usually takes only 3-5 days. During this 3-5 days of shipment period, she sent me an email asking for a tracking number. Unfortunately, I did not buy a confirmation number for this transaction, which lesson learned, I should from now on. Immediately after I told her I don't have a transaction number, about the 5th day..she emailed me and demanded her money back. She claimed that she never got the number. I contacted ebay and they said there was nothing they could do. I ended up giving her a full refund. The thing is I did have the receipt of the postage I bought for this item and date and time I sent out, but of course without a tracking number, ebay said there was nothing they could do. I had left her a positive feedback right as soon as I received her payment, but when I asked Ebay if I could take back the positive feedback, they said the feedback I left cannot be deleted or taken off the buyer's board. One very fishy thing about this buyer is that in replying to my positive feedback, she wrote "Nice item. Thank you". Why would she leave a feedback as nice item when she claimed she never received it? I'm very upset over this as I have always been an honest seller. I have 100% feedback, all positive and all my customers over 100s of them have described my shipping as very fast. This is upsetting and I just wish people could be a little more honest. I just wish there was something Ebay could have done in this kind of situation. Even though I know it was my fault that I didn't get a tracking number at the post office, but Ebay did not allow me to even take my positive feedback for her..and now some of you said we're not supposed to leave bad feedbacks for buyers. I just wish there was something Ebay could do about these scammers who tried to pull a fast one on honest sellers. sorry i'm still so upset about this.
I had an ebay buyer fail to read and understand an item description and end up making false accusations of description being changed rather than admitting her own carelessness/ignorance and/or stupidity! it is ashame honest sellers cannot do more other than to block that person but clearly further action needs to be taken. bad ebay buyer goes by the user id genz*
I've been a regular buyer on Ebay with no issues untill 3 weeks ago when I bought a Balloon training course consisting of 4 DVD's and a book. It took the seller a whole 7 days to send the item. They claimed that sent it 4 days after the sold date. The stamp mark on the parcel says different. Then got the parcel with 1 dvd as a "backup" copy and 1 dvd scratched. It takes this seller about 4 days to get back after emailing about things. Will have to see what prevails.
Heres a good one, description perfect, vehicle great (would have bought it myself) the gentleman with the winning bid said he was coming to see relatives and would pickup then. Thats all fine and good.
(The RUB)
He claims item not as described, then demanded $300 which I didn't have for his gas. (Wasn't he taking the trip to see relatives anyway??) Suffice it to say he never picked up his vehicle. He opened an item not recived case in paypal, (which I won) and an item not described case in Ebay, (which I also won). I had just started my ebay business to consign items and resell them, minus fees and a small commission.
Now paypal is calling me a risk because since Ebay would not allow me to post anymore without a "reimbursement credit card". I sensed something bigger in the works and prepared to close my ebay business down. I had $500+ in outstanding sales waiting to ship, refunded them all and diligently explained what was happening, pulled the last of my money from the paypal account. Paypal called right as I was going to pay ebay their fees and close my account, and told me that since this guy had disputes and I refunded all my customers and cancelled transactions with them that they were going to hold ALL my remaining paypal funds. (You must pay ebay their fees to close the account, so as soon as paypals rude teenager got done telling me I was a deadbeat seller, I immediately transferred ebay their funds. (You gotta be faster than that to steal MY money paypal.) In any case paypal is holding $0.56, I've lost one of my best clients, can no longer do business, and pissed off some buyers, all thanks to paypal and ebay allowing shit buyers to claim anything they want without verifying anything with the buyers. As of right now, I'll do rummage sales, its better than letting people suck money out of me like mosquitoes. In the end, I'm out the $300 for his non-shipped car (customer pickup only mind you) my ebay business and so my livelyhood, made at least 10 customers angry, and paid $200 to Ebay for fees I should not have had to pay due to this same asshole agreeing to cancel and then declining the button, $125 FVF GONE, + listing fees on the auctions I had to cancel. I have been taken for a free trip from Cali to Washington, my business is ruined, I have nothing to show for it but the $160 I had invested in the whole deal, and if I hadn't pulled it out when I did, paypal would have it as they have blocked me out of my own account! My 50 stars just earned finally. Right when I thought business was looking good too. If you're curious, artmanhotrod199 is the doucher taking sellers for a ride, and its shameful that he has a decent rating and looks like a good buyer (since we cant leave them negative feedback!)
I've been a seller and buyer on ebay for over 2 years. I just met the buyer from He**, she bought a brand new pair of jeans with tags on them accused me of selling them with zipper ripped out and blood stains inside. As far as I could tell she wanted the jeans and refund too. Ebay is making her send jeans back at her cost but I am giving her a refund. I'm sure I'll have to throw them away when I do receive them. My opinion she probably does this alot and probably gets the item and money alot of times. I just bought those jeans two weeks ago and there was not one thing wrong with them and they still had the tags on them. Beware of Pentax1963.
in the past month ive had a problems selling AND buying. one person decided to argue with me over the price of postage also, when i decided we should cancel the transaction he decided to tell me that he would just pick the item up but wanted 75% off, meaning it would cost him only a pound, and the truth is id rather keep the item than sell it for that, even the start price was 1.99 some people are unbelievable. i also bought an item 3 weeks ago still waiting for it, but in the meantime i have found that since buying it he has had a flood of bad feedback, as he is selling hacked items, they are MP3 players that lie and say they are better than they are, 4 times LESS memory than advertised, i since found a site devoted to this seller about these items and apparently he will refund all your money if you tell him you will inform customs an exise about his shady operation, if you leave bad feedback he will then offer you MORE money to remove it, or if he asks you to in the initial refund for the item and you still leave bad feedback he files an unpaid item comlaint against you, he tells people that he cant refund there money without the item being returned first costing around the same price as it was to buy and have the item sent in the first place, he tells you that his company wont allow it and it comes out of his low low wages, funny thing is its only this guy, no company at all, he is the ONLY person who mails anyone as he uses his own name at the end, some people think they can get away with it, but i can see this guy getting caught once all the calls flood into customs.
Here's my question for sellers. I am strictly a buyer and I NEVER bid since I learned a hard lesson the first and LAST time I ever did it. Had that seller had the ability to tag that other bidder that seller and those of us innocent bidders would not have been out time effort and money.
While I really do not think its good buyers can't be rated anymore I now have a guy doing something odd to me and have not bought a product.
I was told to do something I never do and thats PUSH THE BUY button to get a listing of several products I wanted on his site and get a better ship price. I did that and got no better price and there was no way to get a better price there where the products were listed. I could not afford his stuff with so high a ship price so I never confirmed the buy and tried to cancel.
NOW he has sent me an email to tell me I have to pay by the 14th or he will complain and have my buying priviledges revoked. Not only that he has now doubled the price of the item listed. I did not do any bidding. It was a buy it now product.
I buy 33USD worth of product a month from ebay and have enjoyed every seller I have delt with. I know you guys are mostly sellers and I would like to be one and was wondering what you would do?
I know I will never consolidate again on ebay. I have sent him another begging email and will not list his name until maybe he may resolve this. I never had such a priblem.
Thanks Moonlake,
That helps. My brother who is experienced says blow it off. He can't do anything.
I am a regular seller on eBay once in awhile. Recently I had a first time buyer. They bought a purse from me (very good condition, not new). They received it and after I gave them positive feedback they mentioned the handles were torn almost completely in half. I asked for a picture. The picture and their description didn't match. So now they've opened a case against me. I think they are trying to scam me. Just because they're a first time user doesn't mean anything. They should have read the fine print before bidding. Now I'm wondering whether to give a refund or just suffer the negative feedback given to me.
Well the buyer ended up opening a case against me and eBay ended up giving them a full refund (not my money as I didn't have enough in my paypal account). I think they will bill me. I keep reporting the buyer to them and asked both the buyer and eBay to send the purse back to me but no response. *sigh* I guess you get a bad apple in the bunch every once in awhile. I responded to the negative feedback left for me saying they'd rather leave a negative comment rather than work things out with me (I did offer a refund which they turned down). But people are still buying stuff from me so I still have that. Thanks for your reply :)
I've been on eBay for more than 10 years and it seems that lately buyers have gotten nastier and behave more like scam artists. Since I can't tell you about other sites on here, just look around, there are some out there that might do the trick.
I love the fact that I can block buyers. There are other sellers that sell items similar to what we sell and we alert each other to problem buyers.
Good luck to all of you.
The trouble with selling on eBay these days is, unless you are selling hi-tech electronics, buyers expect to pay garage sale prices and get free shipping! They do not care that you must pay both eBay and PayPal transaction fees plus pay for your shipping materials. Thus, my perfect 100% seller rating slipped from two sellers leaving me bad feedback because I added 50 cents to the actual USPS postage as a handling fee (to pay most of that PayPal transaction fee). Then I started getting these awful emails from eBay telling me my "performance standard" had dropped!!!
eBay does not care about small-volume sellers and will let buyers walk all over you. For this reason, I do most of my online selling on Amazon Marketplace and etsy.com now. I'm sure eBay doesn't miss me, but I don't miss eBay either. Nor will I BUY anything on eBay.
YEs, i also have troubles with shipping. The cost of shipping was 3 times the cost of item
I think the first class post buye was correct it was your fault for not listing options of postal choice and how long delivery will take. Most sellers just mail items when the feel like and blame the postal company.
Or the other classic they say they are in the UK and the item will be dispatched from UK and they are in China and the item is sent from china. Lets face it small boys with bronken toys that would not last in retail.
Good hub. I used to buy and sell on Ebay but got tired of all the drama. The site favors the buyer the sellers don't matter. Voted and shared.
A couple of years ago i was selling on ebay a fisher price swing that belonged to my daughter. I put it on buy it now lower than a new one would have cost. A woman agreed to pick it up. She came in with her daughter and made me put together the whole thing as i it was already in the box ready to go (i thought fair enough she wants to be sure that it is ok) then i had to wake up my daughter to find batteries in her room so she can check if the music on it was playing. Then she found on the pillow a very slightly shade (you couldn't see it with naked eye)that she said that it looked like mold (yeah right) and she decided that they couldn't buy it. Afterwards i washed the pillow . She gets back home gives me neutral feedback saying that the item was not in good condition which the truth was that the item was too big for their lounge and they changed their mind. Thanks to the new policy by ebay to protect the buyers i couldn't do the same. I just sent her an email -very very polite- telling her that there was no need to do that as after she left i cleaned the pillow with a dump cloth and the stain came off straight away. Thankfully, i sold it a few days later and guess what the new buyer was delighted with it! I will never forget that woman, that was a very nasty thing to do without a reason!
We should get together and make eBay get rid of the chiselers and stop bothering the good buyers and sellers. We can make a date and stop buying and selling for a few days and tell ebay our demands and when they meet them we start up again and if not we can always move to another site or make our own site.
Thanks
Thank you for your comments and support everybody. Yes i think it is a good idea to stop selling or buying for a few days as we only receive "ready made" emails as i call them when we complain. Just remembered that before that woman left we both agreed to cancel the transaction on line so we don't get charged ebay fees. I found it a very bad element of somebody's character and very sneaky to leave neutral feedback. Like i have been rude to them or something so i had to be punished. Shame on them with this kind of attitude nobody wins in life. She could have left it or at least email me before. I was all smiles with them even though my daughter was crying her head off after she was woken up like this. Never mind i should forget about it but as i am consider myself very honest i hate backstabbing for no reason. Lets hope things will change soon.:-)
eBay really has resorted to screwing sellers over. It's a bummer. I now add insurance and delivery confirmation for every item I ship out (I sell vinyl records mostly). It ends up costing more than what I am able to charge for shipping but it gives me peace of mind that sellers won't be able to rip me off. I also don't ship internationally anymore because even though eBay states that sellers aren't responsible for what happens in the post (e.g. if the item is lost in transit overseas), but not many buyers will take this view. I wish it didn't cost so much to send items via registered mail internationally! Oh well.
*edit to the last port. I meant that it gives me peace of mind that BUYERS won't be able to rip me off. Sorry about that!
Thanks. I have dealt with a terrible buyer, I feel better knowing that it isn't just me having such trouble with Ebay. Sellers have a lost their voice and their freedom to stand up for themselves. I don't think I should have topaz such high fees and to have Ebay allow this seller to harass me. She isn't interested in a resolution. She wants vengeance.
I have been selling on ebay and lately I am getting crazy buyers - not paying, saying everything is fine then asking me to pay for a repair or saying something isn't right after several weeks. I am planning to stop selling on ebay. I can't take it.
I am new to Ebay selling and listed a few things to sell. I had 2 buyers for things I have listed. Both are in different countries and both have asked me to send them my email address. I told them to follow the invoice and pay through Paypal. Neither of these 2 buyers has paid for their items. It's very aggravating. I'm almost sure that these are scammers but I do not know how to tell.
I don't sell on Ebay anymore it was too much aggravation. But don't they have non paying bidder forms anymore? I remember it was three strikes they were out? Do they do it differently now?
first time selling on eBay. What a joke. Too many days trying to get buyer to pay or eBay to refund commission. Never again.
selling on ebay is bad and getting worse and worse. im sick of scammers and timewasters. in the past ive won a case once through paypal.. but just recently a case that was opened through ebay i lost, i dont even think their team look at the case which i pleaded n to send them evidence i just think once the buyer clicked esculate a machine automatically sent message sying in buyers favour im livid..as i have no money as it is and just try clearing the wardrobes to raise petty cash for me and my 2kids.. and everytime we get hit or buyer claims somet happens and wants return it means i lose money having paid for post and item isnt the same... on this incident ive just had i sold my daugters kate mack red fleece coat..as soon as i seen this second hand coat sold for £31 i thought its got be to good to be true, so i made a video of item filming every detail just before i posted it...day or 2 later, There it is message pops up item ot as described, huh buyer complains coat is all bobbly and the lining is missing, the want return it, i tell them the coats not bobbly its made out of a thick fleece and theyre never was a lining i also explain to them i made avideo of coat fro proof it is ok..they threaten me they will open a ebay case they want full refund..i notice another seller who is selling the same coat and confirm its fleece i ask them for confirmation this coat is made without a lining i explain why they confirm and let me know some1 had just previously asked them that which they thought strange.. anyway then i get the open case dispute now buyers reasons for opening case are it has a human hair on it and is covered in white animal hair (I dont own any pets by the way) i right in the resolution centre how i have video of coat i want submit by the end of week buyer esculates case,(Iwanted to but there isnt a esculate button for seller) anyway as soon as they do a instant message comes up case decided in buyers favour they can return for full refund..i am livid, they never asked to see my evidence nor gave explination why in buyers favour..so i trolled internet for a number to get through to ebay i clicke dthe options as a buyer on phone seem as the ones for seller got me nowhere... i got nowhere with ebay they could offer no explanation to their decision when i asked why not see my video the second woman explained my video isnt proof as it couldve been done anytime..HAHA nice try love i let her know oh no it couldnt because i mention in video exactly how much the coat sold for.. i still have got no where with them.. but i have told them they can pay the buyer back out of their own pocket if thats their decision end of...im from the UK and was just wondering if any1 knows where to go or who to see that will take action aainst ebay for you,, freely of course
also moonlake i agree with you totally on postage,, if the buyer dosnt like the cost of the postage they shouldnt bid, I had a guy once bid on childs jacket he had a huge feedback he obviously bought alot on there bus this gave him a power trip over me after winning the coat he sent me a message requesting his invoice of discounted postage.. i stated the price of postage was what it was. id put £13 for international it was going to australia from uk to be honest if i wanted send it recorded it wouldve been maybe more but anyway thats not the point id put a amount i wanted and if he was prepared to pay it he shouldnt of bid.. i got nothing but moaning and demanding off him and how he has a feedback of thousands of items. anyway i reported him to ebay in end for no payment and had them remove any bad feedback he made, they said he gets a mark against him but i doubt they really give any1 strikes they want the buyers so much.. now they have a set limit in the uk for posting only within the uk of course you can only charge a maximum of £4 ive lost so much money this way with items going way over. now if i think ive ot heavy item i just only add free for collection in person.. and wait if i get a message ill tell them how much and add after..people forget the time and effort we put in with posting items its a job in itself.. and tbh between ebays fees and then paypals we need to try get money from somewhere..I wanted to try and work for myself making little girls clothes and selling them online originally i was going to do it on ebay but with the constant scamms, its just not a sensible option id be making clothes and gettin ruined off timewasters me kids would be pennyless dont suppose ou know any sites that would be friendlier for me to try this and run less risk and better seller protection from scammers

For 7 years I sold on eBay and did ok...now I find IF I get bids on my collectibles, they are extremely low and for the first time ever, people don't pay (I can't even get them to respond...and trying to get my listing monies back from eBay is nearly impossilbe. I can't even leave negative feedback for these people.) I lost money the last two months. I'm done.
